Life, however, has a way of teaching us the lessons we most need to learn ourselves.

Five years ago, life invited me into one of the most difficult and transformative periods of my journey.

When cancer came into my life, I was afraid, but somewhere deep inside, I also understood that its presence was asking me to pause and listen in a way I never truly had before. I had spent so much time disconnected from myself, constantly moving, constantly giving, constantly doing, that I had forgotten how to simply be. I had forgotten my body, my needs, my inner world, and the quiet signals asking me to slow down.

That experience changed the relationship I had with myself completely.

It was during this period that I became more deeply drawn toward understanding the connection between the mind, body, emotions, and nervous system. This led me to begin my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Malta, while also exploring alternative and holistic approaches that support emotional wellbeing and inner balance.

A few years later, while exploring different therapeutic practices, I attended my first sound bath — an experience that stayed with me deeply. What began as personal curiosity slowly became something much more meaningful. I continued deepening my understanding of sound and vibration through in-person sound therapy trainings, professional courses, and certifications with the International Sound Therapy Association (IAST) and Naturalistico, while experiencing firsthand the profound effect these practices can have on the nervous system and emotional well-being.

What touched me most was the simplicity of it. No pressure to perform. No need to fix anything. Just the opportunity to lie down, feel supported, and allow the body to soften through sound, vibration, and stillness.

That experience became the beginning of something profoundly meaningful for me.

Inner Wave was born from the desire to create that same feeling of safety, softness, and reconnection for others.

Today, my work brings together both personal experience and professional training. By combining my background in psychology with sound therapy, I aim to create a space where people can step away from the demands of everyday life, reconnect with themselves, and experience moments of genuine rest, presence, and inner balance.

Whether you are arriving feeling stressed, overwhelmed, curious, or simply in need of a pause, you are welcome exactly as you are.

My goal is that every person who enters Inner Wave leaves feeling a little lighter, a little calmer, and a little more connected to themselves than when they arrived.
